I’ve been wanting to share something with everyone that they may not already know about me. So it’s been a topic of some of my down time thoughts.

One thing that very few people really know is that I’m a collector of fortune cookie fortunes. I even have a few stashed in my wallet all the time.

Yeah I know not exactly some big deep dark secret, but I do have sort of a passion about it. I keep the ones I think are really awesome and they must fit a certain criteria. Now we all know “fortunes” aren’t always fortunes, but more than likely sayings or advice, so these are in there as well so when I say “fortune” I’m referring to the piece of paper inside the cookie, not necessarily what a fortune actually is.

1. The fortune must be insightful.
2. The fortune must be funny. Can be poor English, translation or just outright weird.
3. The fortune must have a possible ramification on my life, either past, present or future.

That’s it really. I’m going to TwitPic my fortunes intermittently over the coming weeks just so you can have a little pep me up, some wisdom or maybe a laugh. I hope you enjoy.
